Detect my windows

A detected opening is a starting point, not a measurement.

The detection tool proposes what each opening looks like: its type, its panel configuration and an approximate width and height with an error range. You bring the result into the project builder and confirm the real measurements there before anything is final.

What it detects

  • The opening type, such as single hung, horizontal roller or picture window.
  • The panel configuration, such as XO, OX or XOX (see the configuration guide).
  • An approximate width and height, with its error range and how it was obtained.
  • How confident it is in the type and in the configuration.

What it does not do

  • It does not measure a manufacturing size. Sizes are approximate.
  • It does not produce a price or a quote.
  • It does not verify product approvals, design pressure or code compliance.
  • It does not replace professional measurement on an installed project.

What happens after detection

  1. The detected openings are sent to the project builder.
  2. Each one arrives flagged for specialist review, with a note listing what was detected and a reminder to confirm the product type, configuration and dimensions before ordering.
  3. If the tool proposes a type or configuration the builder does not support, the opening is shown with a note for review instead of being treated as confirmed.
  4. You correct the details and enter the real measurements. The measurement guide shows how.

On material-only orders the sizes you confirm are the sizes manufactured, and professional measurement is not included. See material-only supply and how configurations are described.

Questions about detection

Is the detected size the size that gets manufactured?
No. A detected size is approximate and comes with an error range. Confirm real measurements in the project builder; on material-only orders the sizes you confirm are the sizes manufactured.
Does detection give me a price?
No. Detection only proposes an opening. A price appears in the project builder only for a supported exact selection at the sizes you confirm; anything else goes to specialist review.
What if the tool gets the type or configuration wrong?
Change it in the builder. Imported openings are flagged for specialist review and carry a note to confirm the product type, configuration and dimensions before ordering.
Do I have to use it?
No. You can start a project by entering openings by hand at any time.
