Counties and places covered
- Martin County — Stuart, Jensen Beach, Sewall’s Point
- St. Lucie County — Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce
- Indian River County — Vero Beach, Sebastian
- Brevard County — Melbourne, Palm Bay, Titusville, Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island
This is a continuous stretch of Atlantic coast running north from the Palm Beach County line, with the Indian River Lagoon between the mainland and the barrier islands. Martin County is the county directly north of Palm Beach County, which is the nearest of our three installation counties.
Wind zone and building code
None of these counties is in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone; that zone is Miami-Dade and Broward only. Oceanfront and lagoon-front addresses raise the coastal-distance question in the wind-borne debris definition, while addresses further west depend on design wind speed. The answer is per address.
Use the ASCE 7 Hazard Tool for the design wind speed at your address, and confirm with your building department.
Permits and product approval: your side of a material-only order
Permits are issued by the county or by the city where the property sits — Stuart, Port St. Lucie, Vero Beach, Melbourne and others. Product Approval documentation for the exact product goes with the application, and the applicant answers for it.
On a material-only order, permitting and installation are yours or your contractor’s. Read how permits and inspections work and association approval before you order.
Delivery and receiving
Because Martin County adjoins an installation county, some buyers ask whether installation can be arranged; it is not offered outside Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, so plan on your own contractor here and confirm freight receiving before you order.
Freight and UPS delivery fees depend on destination and size and are confirmed for your address. Details: shipping and freight guide.
How to measure, and what happens to the sizes
On a material-only order, the sizes you confirm are the sizes manufactured — professional measurement is not included. Follow the measurement guide, enter each opening in the project builder, and a specialist confirms configuration details with you before anything goes to the factory. See what material-only supply means.
Manufacturing windows
- ES Windows (ESW) — typically 40 to 50 days
- Mr. Glass — typically 8 to 12 weeks
These are manufacturing windows, not delivery dates: they start when an order is confirmed, and measurement, permitting and installation scheduling sit outside them. Your specific window is confirmed during project review. Last confirmed August 24, 2026; a window that has aged is not a cautious estimate, so it carries its date.
